March 23 is National Puppy Day, a day each year to celebrate our love of puppies.
It also represents a day to educate people about the harm done by puppy mills and the pet stores that sell these dogs.
("Puppy Day? It wasn't a good day for this puppy! People visited, big and small, for a party. My pawrent played with the little girls for a few days. Sometimes I had to stay home. I can't go into places where there is food? Why not? I promise not to jump on the birthday cake! What flavor is it?")
I took a walk with my dog sitter while my pawrent was busy. Then I waited and waited for her to come home and play. So sad!
But good news! The big and small people left! I have my pawrent all to myself again!
Next year, Puppy Day will be better!")
